RHA Annual is Ireland’s largest and longest running exhibition of visual art. Open to all artists working in paint, drawing, print, sculpture, photography and architecture, the RHA Annual Exhibition attracts a large public and critical audience with 48,000 visitors last year.

Lavish and Judicious at CCA Derry
Lavish and Judicious is a group exhibition including video, painting, sound installation and textile works. It takes as its starting point Sion Mills, a ‘model village’ and linen mill, located 20 miles south of Derry.
Lavish and Judicious considers this mix of planning, social engineering, capitalism and utopianism through a new commission by Aideen Doran and works from Jaana Kokko, Jennifer Trouton and Caroline Achaintre.

Birth of a Nation Ning Space , Beijing
As part of the annual Irish Festival in China, Irish Wave 2016 will take place in Beijing and Shanghai during March 2016 supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
This year, a series of contemporary art exhibitions and events will focus on themes of nationhood and cultural identity as part of Irish Wave’s mission to promote multicultural artistic exchanges.

Queen’s University Belfast, Great Hall Portrait commission
On April 18th 2016 Queen’s Univeristy Belfast , Gender initative unveiled its latest portrait commissioned for the Great Hall. Professor Ruth Lyndon Bell by Belfast based artist jennifer Trouton
The Great Hall is home to a selection of works from the University’s vast Portrait Collection of highly distinguished sitters by artists of international significance. Subjects range from previous Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors to noteworthy figures with a connection to the University including Seamus Heaney, Sir John Lavery, Professor Mollie McGeown, and Baroness

Golden Fleece Award 2016
The trustees of the Golden Fleece Award are delighted to announce Jennifer Trouton as the winner of for the 2016 Golden Fleece Award .
The winner was announced at a ceremony held in Dublin castle on 8th March 2016. Jennifer was chosen from a shortlist of 4 artists , Gerry Davis ( Limerick); wood turner Liam Flynn (Limerick); ceramicist Sara Flynn (Belfast) and Trouton
